Artist, educator, and creator of the Pathfinding method. Susan’s work bridges ritual, making, and embodied wisdom—helping people anchor insight into real life.
My work began long before I knew what to call it.
On the surface, my life has been about art — building companies, designing jewelry collections for fashion houses and museums, teaching internationally, writing books, mentoring creatives, standing on runways, winning awards. I’ve built and rebuilt. I’ve experienced expansion and collapse. I’ve held success in my hands and learned what it means to sustain it.
But underneath all of that, my real pursuit was never achievement. It was peace.
Across cultures, I noticed something universal: people created objects to hold intention. Talismans. Not superstition — inheritance. Tools to anchor protection, healing, direction, becoming.
That understanding shaped everything I built.
Over decades of creative practice, I came to understand something essential about the nervous system: the mind cannot live in survival and creativity at the same time. It is one or the other.
My work now centers on helping people leave survival mode and return to the creative state — the place where clarity, health, and meaningful direction become possible.
