Talisman Workshop — 5 day Journey of the Raw the Elegant and the Sacred

Join me in my personal studio for a rare, soul-forward, semi private workshop, exploring wire as a poetic language — a way to contain the sacred, honor the imperfect, and celebrate the raw edges of the world.

✧ WHAT YOU’LL LEARN ✧
You’ll learn to see structure as story and join with intention — to work in alignment with your materials, your mind, and your heart.

+ Sculptural Wire Construction: Build small, wearable structures using negative and positive space. Layer wire and sheet metal with elegance, precision, and wildness.

+ Unconventional Stone Setting: Design raw, expressive prong and wire settings for dimensional materials —stones, gems, mica, crystal, petrified wood, found objects, and sacred relics.

+ Innovative Metalworking Techniques: Forge, twist, solder, and shape wire using studio techniques tailored for both strength and beauty.

+ Intuitive Design: Compose with restraint and resonance. Learn how to let the object lead — to build forms that reveal instead of concealing.

Technique leads. Story follows naturally.

✧ THE STUDIO EXPERIENCE ✧

INCLUDES:

+ Organic lunch from a local restaurant, light breakfast and coffee

+ Energy alignment sessions evening - with l Dr. Sam- You feel amazing afterwards and I call it learning your assets while getting in balance.

                                     + somatic release

                                     +Intention setting and group attainment

+Physical + energetic alignment for inspired creation

+Bench + torch setup provided (please bring your personal pliers + a few small tools). Brass and bronze metals will be provided if you’d like to work with something other than sterling silver.

✧ WHAT THIS WORKSHOP IS ✧

This is an opportunity for a few artists and jewelers to come to my studio and explore + build their own personal body of work and stories that accompany them. In this five-day journey, we will build architectural settings and sculptural containers using wire, sheet metal, and story. Inspired by forms from nature and lines from architecture, you’ll learn to create prongs, twists, and tension settings that hold space for the mysterious — stones, objects, relics, and memories that don’t fit into traditional frames.

We’ll move beyond technique and into presence.
